Great show Ed! I particularly enjoyed the segment about the things to stay away from if you’re a woman at a gokon. A comical combination of sexist stereotypes and gross generalizations, it was pretty hard to take it seriously. It really made us men seem quite simple minded, almost like animals that had to be approached with caution if they are to be captured. Don’t confuse them, don’t scare them away, don’t come too close or touch them and be sure not to make them feel inadequate! I have to admit though that a few of them are definitely big turn offs. Due to my simplicity, I am glad that that part of my life is over (the finding of a partner part) for now…
Keep the good stuff coming!
Yeah.. That was pretty amazing, wasn’t it?
There is one more story I forgot to include along the same vein…. Maybe I will do a video on it.
Seriously need to get on Radio. Great show!!
@discoverysound
Actually, Steven, I grew up in Chicago during the AM rock radio era, where I stayed glued to WLS (Dick Biondi, Larry Lujak and others… in addition to the early morning grain reports and pork belly futures) and there once was a time long ago when I dreamed of someday being a radio guy. I even took a few courses in broadcasting. But then real life and hungry mouths to feed intervened, so a got a haircut and got a real job.
But now, thanks to the magic of the Internet, here I am, having a ball and wondering what would have happened if my life had took a different turn…
